This autumn, shopping in Austria has never been more fun. From September 18 to November 12, 2025, ADEG supermarkets are bringing the world of Asterix straight to their customers with a collectible sticker album and two exclusive Asterix mugs. The promotion transforms everyday grocery runs into a treasure hunt for fans of all ages.
Every €10 spent at ADEG earns shoppers a free sticker pack. With 144 stickers to collect, the album quickly comes to life with the faces of Asterix, Obelix, and the rest of the indomitable Gauls. But this is no ordinary sticker book. The album also includes puzzles, crafts, and even Gaul-inspired recipes, making it a hands-on experience that entertains kids and adults alike. The album itself is available for just €2.99, making it easy for families to join the fun.

Of course, what’s a potion-brewing Gaul without a cup? ADEG also invites fans to choose from two Asterix mugs, perfect for morning coffee, hot chocolate, or your own version of Getafix’s magic potion. These porcelain mugs are priced at €4.99 each and are available while supplies last.
The campaign is impossible to miss. ADEG has rolled out a 360° promotional push, complete with TV commercials in comic-book style, radio ads, web and display campaigns, and in-store displays to catch your eye while shopping. With around 400 ADEG stores across Austria, this is one of the largest Asterix promotions in the country this year.
ADEG even draws a cheeky comparison between their store owners and the heroes of the comic series. Much like Asterix and Obelix, ADEG grocers are described as rooted in tradition, proud of their communities, and always looking after their neighbors. In short, they see themselves as the Gauls of Austrian retail.

For international collectors, the sticker packs and mugs are only available in Austria. However, Asterix mugs often appear on online marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, and specialty retailers, making it possible to enjoy them beyond Austrian borders.
