I have recently added a few more mugs from Hachette’s Indomitable Collection to my collection. I must say that these mugs are of a really good quality and I really like their design. I have focused on getting mugs with the main characters and I think I will probably stick with that. There’s isn’t that much room in my kitchen anyway.

The mugs are released bi-weekly and you can either sign up to a subscription model or order that from mugs-asterix.com. Some are available at the official Asterix store over on asterix.com as well. I bought mine from Vinted. On mugs-asterix.com you can now order up to mug number 37.

Every mug has a character on the front and a quote from said character on the back. Would be nice when collections like these would be made available easier to fans outside of France as well. Not sure if anyone needs 60 mugs at home … but maybe that is just me.

The mug with Getafix laughing, I haven’t spotted it yet on any of the sites mentioned above. Not sure if it is officially part of the collection. I also found a nice rack to store the cups, can haven’t seen these in any official publication at any of the sites either. If you have more information, it is more than welcome.

On sites like Vinted you can sometimes buy the mugs for as low as 5 euro or even less. Just as with other series released by Hachette, after a while (or after they have all the main characters) people stop collecting and if you look to complete the series later, you will find that the mugs that were released later are harder to find or at least cost you more.
