I once started the @asterix.thegaul instagram account to show all the statuettes from the Grande Galerie des Personnages. These statuettes were released between 2011 en 2014. Fans could subscribe and would get a new statuette each month, with a little booklet. Every time I uploaded a new post to instagram, I added a photo to my collection here on the website as well. Today I have uploaded the 70th photo (of number 66) and so I am proud to announce that you can now see my complete collection.

Sometimes people ask me where they can buy these statuettes. The short answer is: they aren’t for sale anymore. The longer answer is; you can find them online on sites like Vinted (especially in France) and Ebay. Some of these statuettes are quite fragile, and I had to replace a few of them over the years. I have always managed to find replacements on Vinted. Some sellers even still have them in the original packaging.

The price you ask? That really depends. The lower numbers are still quite easy to find. My guess is that people would subscribe, get the first ten statuettes or so, and then canceled their subscription. When you have the numbers one till ten, you have the most well-know characters like Asterix, Obelix, Getafix and Vitalstatistix. The higher numbers are trickier to find and they are usually higher priced as well. The price also depends on the state of the statuette and if it comes with the booklet or not. Statuettes in their original packaging go on sale for 50 euro or more.

The booklets, in French, are a great source of information for Asterix fans. Sometimes you can find these for just a few euro. If you do, buy them!
