Parc Astérix Unveils Major 2026 Expansion and Price Adjustments

January 19, 2026

As we enter the 2026 season, Parc Astérix continues its ambitious transformation into a premier European destination. While the park is adjusting its entry rates for the upcoming year, the management team has tied these changes directly to a massive €250 million investment plan aimed at crossing the 3-million-visitor mark by 2030.

New Pricing Structure for 2026

Located in Plailly, the park has released its updated tariff schedule for the new season:

  • Liberté Flex Adult Ticket: This flexible option, which allows visitors to change their date until one hour before opening, is now €68 (a €3 increase).
  • Futé Ticket (Adult): For those booking at least seven days in advance for a fixed date, the price is €56 (a €2 increase).
  • Children (Ages 3-11): Rates have also increased by €2, with the Liberté Flex at €59 and the Futé ticket at €53.
  • Parking: To ease the burden on families, parking fees remain stable at €20 per vehicle.

Parc Astérix management emphasizes that these rates remain highly competitive compared to major European counterparts while supporting massive on-site developments.

Comparison: How Parc Astérix Ranks in Europe (2026)

While prices have risen, Parc Astérix remains one of the most cost-effective “major” parks in Europe when compared to its peers.

The Future of the Village: 2026-2028

The price adjustments are fueling a rapid expansion of the Gaulish universe. Visitors can look forward to a multi-year roadmap of new immersive zones:

  • 2026: The Egypt Zone Reborn: A complete renovation of the Egyptian area will be unveiled this season.
  • 2027: New Greek Zone: This expansion will feature two new family attractions, a dedicated play area, and a large 450-seat restaurant.
  • 2028: Londinium (Britain Zone): Inspired by the classic album Asterix in Britain, this indoor area will debut an immersive roller coaster, an interactive trail, and an authentic “Gaulish” pub.
  • Stay Longer: To accommodate growing crowds, the L’Odyssée Hôtel is adding 300 new rooms, allowing more fans to stay overnight and experience the park across multiple days.

Despite the growth, the spirit of the park remains focused on the human-centric, satirical, and energetic world created by Uderzo and Goscinny.
