Enough has been written about Baba and his portial in Asterix adventures. From the moment we met him in Asterix the Gladiator he has been a favorite of fans. In 2025 he got a long awaited update. 

Did you know that Baba is actually never named in the English albums? Asterix.com just calls him Pirate Lookout.
