Asterix: Knight book pockets

When you grew up in the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada or New Zealand in 1970’s you might have come in contact with Asterix through the Knight book pockets. Knight books published black and white pocket versions of the albums at an affordable price.

I have four of these in my collection:

• Asterix the Gaul
• Asterix the Legionary
• Asterix in Spain
• Asterix at the Olympic Games

To read the comics you have to turn them 90 degrees. They were cheap and that is something you really start to notice when you handle them now. Time to store them in a acid-free container before they fall apart.
