Tortuous Convolvulus

Tortuous Convolvulus, also known as the Roman Agent, is the kind of person who thrives on negativity. He gains his energy by sowing discord and setting people against each other.

The English name Tortuous Convolvulus combines “tortuous” (twisted and deceitful) with a “convolvulus” vine that strangles other plants, perfectly mirroring his devious nature. In French, Détritus marks him as “rubbish” or a low-life, while the Dutch Catastrofus and German Destructivus highlight the catastrophe and destruction he leaves in his wake. The Dutch title The Intrigant is perhaps the most accurate, as it describes a master schemer who uses secret plots and manipulation to turn friends into enemies.
