We’ll still have to wait a year or so to actually see the movie, but yesterday a teaser was dropped. And the signs are good!

Due to a mishap in the magic potion the villagers all turn into kids. Except for Asterix, Obelix and Panoramix. Panoramix usually doesn’t drink it, Asterix and Obelix were out hunting (and Obelix wouldn’t have gotten any anyway).

Our heroes have to travel to the kingdom of Nubia which is a long-long way away. In Nubia we meet an old friend.

The previous two 3D animated Asterix movies were highly enjoyable. In my opinion Mansions of the Gods is the best Asterix movie ever made. The Asterix series that aired on Netflix earlier this year was similarly enjoyable. This teaser looks very promising. I know where I will be Christmas 2026!
